Turning research into impact for institutions and communities

I've spent the past decade working at the intersection of research, strategy, and institutional change, trying to make complex environments work better for the people in them and the communities they exist to serve.

That's taken different forms: founding a cancer research start-up, redesigning how Group of Eight universities support their students, working alongside First Nations-owned enterprises in rural NSW to help bring their vision to life, and helping major organisations navigate moments of significant transition.

These days, I lead research, strategic intelligence, and university sector initiatives at The Dor Foundation, contributing to Australia's national effort to counter antisemitism and hate. This is work I'm deeply committed to and personally connected to. I also serve as the President of Newtown Synagogue, which has given me a different kind of education in governance, stewardship, and what it means to hold responsibility for something that matters to people beyond yourself and the organisation.

What connects all of it: I'm drawn to work where rigorous thinking meets real stakes, where trust is built by being honest about what you know and what you don't, and where the goal is building something that lasts, not just for the institution, but for the people it's there to serve.

Always happy to connect with others working on things that matter to them and the people they serve.
